EP III - Novelization [SPOILERS!!!!]

I am nearly done with Stover's novelization of episode 3 and so far it is a darn fine piece of work (not that I would have expected any less from him). His characterization of Anakin's inner self is a work of beauty and, of course, tragedy.

Anyone else gettin jiggy with it?

Who's Stover? I mean, I know he's the author, but what else has he written that's been "big?" And what do you think so far of Ep 3 vs 1 and 2?

He is sorta up and coming. So far everybook of his has been superb IMO. He has 4 books outside of SW - the best two being Heroes Die and Iron Dawn. He also has 3 SW novels out - SW NJO: Traitor, SW: Shatterpoint (Mace Windu), and EP III. I believe that these will be the end of his SW run for the time being. I can't decide if Heroes Die or the SW novel Shatterpoint is his best.

EP I was fair - great for the insight into QGJ never been much of a Brooks fan. I didn't read EP II, really not an RAS fan. Acually, I read very few SW books (basically the Zhan stuff) and had not read anything since EP I until I saw Stover's name on Traitor. It was very much a dark mind screwing but I was somewhat lost in the setting. Shatterpoint on the otherhand took SW to a field where all the bets are off.

Yeah, Stover really is a great author and does Star Wars well. I've GOT the novelization, but I'm not going to read it until after Episode III. I'm STILL bitter about the kid who read the novel before Ep I came out when I was avoiding all spoilers and said about a week before the movie "Oh, and Qui-Gon dies."

Ugh...not that I'm anywhere near spoiler free at this point with RotS, but I'm resisting anything more. The soundtrack is currently holding me over.

My god man! I've all but decided you've read the script twice and once when you where leaning over Lucas' shoulder...

I bought the book on Overstock the other day cause the price was right but like some of the others I think I'll wait till after I see the movie to read the book.

Its not out until May 3rd...but its leaked. Have a look around and you should be able to find it, though its probably best that I don't link you to it. Sorry. But this is definitely a great soundtrack. Very good music, very powerful stuff.

Until May 3rd, yep. Though if you're a Hyperspace member you can get a 1 minute preview of one of the tracks. That was out a couple weeks ago.
