Pity that, as written, a spell to reflect five arrows back at an attacker is about the same difficulty, and worth about as much of a PC's time and effort to create. If the design intent was to make sure that Epic spellcasters never actually develop or cast Epic spells....mission accomplished. As an exercise, try recreating a 9th level spell using the epic rules, or even a fireball as cast by a 20th level caster. It's both enlightening and kind of silly.Aaron L said:No changes to epic spells. There has to be some limiting factor to a mechanic that can concievably let the caster raise his own mountain range and then throw each mountain at his enemies, after all.
