D&D (2024) Rules Clarification: Epic Boon at 19th Class Level or Total Character Level?

I have feats always go off of character level. So you get a feat at 4th, 8th, 12th, 16th, and an Epic Boon at 19th level. If you play a fighter you get a bonus feat at 6th level Fighter and at 14th level. Regardless of your multiclassing levels and when they happen you can only get the Epic Boon one time at 19th level. There is no strategy to get anything else. However, I strongly hate the idea that multiclassing limits the character on total feats gained and more importantly I strongly hate the idea that a player has to map out what level they take in each of their classes to ensure they still get them. Very simple if you play single class you are going to get a lot of higher level class features that multiclassing doesn't. Feats, ASIs, and Boon Feats I truly feel should just be the same across the board if single class or multiclassing. So every character gets a total of 4 feats or ASI and one Epic Boon by the time they are a 19th level character. Then if playing a Fighter you get the chance at two more Feats or ASI. A rogue gets the chance at one more Feat or ASI. Then if you were to play a Fighter / Rogue the most you would still be able to get is two more feats or ASI as well
agree,
I would even allow Extra attack features to stack from various classes.
1st, it buffs mostly full martials which is good.
2nd if you want 5 attacks as fighter 5, monk5, paladin 5, ranger 5, go for it. It would be one really good feature at lvl20.

In dndnext, extra attack stacked for a while. But you only got your 3rd attack, if one of your classes is fighter.

Which seems somewhat fair.

In 2024, with nerfed smites, I could actually see stacking extra attacks as viable.
The best you can get is level 10 for 3 attacks. Which is totally ok balance wise, but a bit strange considering a full fighter gets their 3rd attack at 11.

So maybe the idea could be that if you get your extra attack feature, you may add +5 levels towards any extra attack feature of other classes. So a fighter 7,paladin 4 has only 1 attack, a fighter 5, paladin 5 has only one attack, but a fighter level 6, paladin 5 gets 3 attacks.

A different idea would just count your second class with extra attack half (rounded up) for any extra attack feature, so progression is delayed a bit.

That way, a fighter 6 paladin 10 would get their 3rd attack. Or a fighter 5, paladin 12. Which is not half bad as a level 17 upgrade.
