The Hoobastank ability applies a -2 to all rolls and effectively staggers an opponent, slowing their speed to half, effectlively a crawl. It then casts darkness, leaving the victims... crawling in the dark

You think that's tough, wait til you get the ELH and see the stats for a Paragon Patoot. I don't want to spoil too much jusy yet, but think of a patoot with a +20 bonus to everything and max hit points.

Swallow Whole (Ex) - from MM
Colon Blow (Ex) - Once every 1d4 rounds, the Paragon Patootie can release the contents of it's bowels in a cone with a range of 100ft. Any creature within the cone must make a reflex save [DC38] or be pinned by feces, Staggered (same effect as Hoobastank), and blinded. If the creature makes the save, they are still staggered, but not pinned or blinded. Special: the DC for Colon Blow is raised by 2 for every individual creature Swallowed Whole that day from sheer weight of the feces.

that's about the worst way to be blinded I can think of.
By the way, what was the original topic of this thread anyway? Was that issue ever resolve. I honestly can't remember.

The Paragon Hoobastank has other abilities. Do you want me to quote them
