When I first saw this post I thought,

"Oh No! a thread about the Epic Level Handbook and its not available here, what will I do? It's up to 4 pages already. Should I read it and grow envious with each page that I read of the spirited and knowledgble discussions that MUST be going on? Or should I pass and hope to partake when I have the book and hopefully contribute something usefull to the discussion?"

Obviously I took the plunge painted myself green and prepared my emotions for envy mode.

Nah, Tangent-Land wouldn't have us. They felt we were a bit too nonsensical at times.

What is a Pantheon thread? I've been on the boards a while, and it rings a bell, but I can't place it.

And to keep us on our off-topic discussion, if I were an adventurer and heard that great treasure could be found past some poo, I'd take that job. I'd go buy myself a full body condom before entering the duneon though.

So I guess it's looking like my player has to fill in those last 5 levels before he can advance from 10th to 11th as an Elemental Savant, right?

As far as I know... Either you need 20 levels in a single class before taking epic-thingies (and it sounds stupid, but that's basically what said a guy from WotC on WotC's Deities & Demigods board) and then you'll have to take 15 new levels as a wizard, or the thing is 20 character levels and those 5 missing levels could be anything (loremaster, arcane devotee, archmage, duellist, rogue, bard...).
