Equiping a Sorcerer or Wizard for RHOD

We've got a warlock in the RHOD. We started with 2, 1 died :-(

The surviving level 6 warlock (we started at level 5) has all the fey feats from the PHB2. That, plus a +1 chain shirt, will lead to a much longer lived warlock. (He has DR 5/cold iron I think as well as a few spells.

A gnome or halfling mage on a riding dog, with the wild cohort feat from the WotC site: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/re/20031118a

Gnome will have more hit points (and he's small, so good AC). Halfling will have an even higher AC and better saves. The riding dog is medium, so he won't run into any problems moving around the battlefield. With wild cohort that doggy is pretty tough to kill, and can keep you out of harm's way.

And of course, warlock is in my experience just plain better than wizard, at least for RHOD, which is pretty heavily focused on combat, and has little need for things like divination.
