Errata on Leap Attack

With the errata on Leap Attack (+100% of bonus from Power Attack) instead of x3, does that mean that if I have a BAB+6 and I am using a 2-handed weapon, and I use it all for Leap Attack, I get +24 damage or +18?

Because the way it is worded goes something like this:

Power Attack you double your penalty (+12 in this example).

Leap Attack you get +100% of the Power Attack Bonus (+24)

I believe they mean X3 instead of the normal X2 per -1 to hit when swinging with that two-handed weapon.

But this does gets confusing when it comes to mounted charges.

Ridley ... they errata-ed it to state

If you cover at least 10 feet of horizontal distance with your jump, and you end your jump in a square from which you threaten your target, you deal +100% the normal bonus damage from your use of the Power Attack feat.

which leads me to the question I stated. +100% is completely different to x2 -> x3.

So if anyone can give me an answer to this one I'd be grateful.

If you have +6 BAB and you Power Attack with a two-handed weapon, your normal bonus damage is +12.

Using Leap Attack with the above, it would seem (and I would rule, barring clarifications from WotC) that you deal +24 (+12 + 100% of that).

Ouch.

I'm pretty sure that it is 3x power attack with a two-handed weapon. So 2 PA would net 6 extra damage. My only proof is this is how I've seen it described more than once.

Slash ... it was originally x3 PA in Complete Adventurer but it was errata-ed as I've previously posted.

So far, it looks like a 2 handed power attack using Leap Attack AND the errata of +100% leads to the equivalent of x4 sacrificed BAB.

"+100% the normal bonus damage"

What is normal bonus damage if you PA with a 2H weapon for +6? +12 damage.

What is +100% of +12? +24.

That's what they said, and that's what they meant.

Thank you for contacting us.

No, you add the 100% of the regular damage again for an effect of x3 damage for +12 damage total.

Take Care!

Huh? That makes no sense at all.

Nice to see that normal Customer Service is being resumed.
