There have been printings that have included earlier errata...


However at the current rate of errata, it's not feasible for them to do so at this time.

I hope that we'll see a revised PHB1 after the Essentials line next year. I'd buy that, rather than a PHB4. We'll see... Nothing has been announced yet.

I know that the special editions with the silvery cover, etc ... had the errata for stealth, for example (although they included much of the same errata in PH2 I believe). The errata to rules (as opposed to powers, classes, feats, etc) will likely show up in the essential lines, in the form of the rules compendium and perhaps the books on essential races/classes will include some reprinted (and errata'd) material, such as feats like weapon/implement/focused expertise.

But with a once-a-month release schedule, putting errata in books isn't really -feasible- quite yet.
