All right, I'm calling on all of my geek friends and guru's here. I know I've seen tonites guest somewhere, but my imdb-fu has failed.

It's driving me up the wall, who is he? He's playing the scientist who was working on cellular regeneration.

Finally found him, had to use google-fu with a little TV Guide mastery.

He's Saul Rubinek, and knowing which name to look up I was able to find out that he's played small parts in lots of shows I've watched, but I've managed to miss most of his movies.

I recongnized him from an Star Trek Next Gen episode. He played the ultimate collector, and thus kidnapped Data to have him on display.

Missed most of his movies? You mean movies starring him or movies where he has small bits? Now that you mention it, he does seem familiar. Didn't really think about him before.

I miss the guy from the first ep, the scientist who had doppelgangered his wife. I've seen him in a couple other things and liked him. Only seen him occasionally though.

He is one f those actors that surprise you when you realize eveything he has been in, constant work.

He's a favorite actor of mine, enough that I recognized the name; he played Saul Panzer and Lon Cohen in A&E's Nero Wolfe mysteries.
