"Well, come along Tristram. That's our cue," Mab says, setting down her tea cup and scooping up her rat. She ambles out of the tavern following Dante and Max.

OOC: Too low for the high mission, too high for the lowbie mission, huh, Voda? Sad, I hadn't noticed and was thinking our table was one character away from a full cast

Yep, sad indeed. Hopefully there'll be another chance to get Vermitrax on the field soonish.

Vermitrax stays at the table, watching the trio disappear through the door. He glances to the rest of the patrons, looking for another group of suitable preys-, ehm, adventurers with the same aims, that is.

Never fear peasants, for I have returned! Sharpe shouts, walking back into the tavern. With a flourish he flings the tablecloth off the dragon.

I may have not found a cow, but I found something better! He says, pointing to the badge on his chest. It is a medal with a stick figure knight helping a little old lady across a road on it, it seems to be reversible.

During my bovine finding adventure I stumbled on an ancient order of knights of hospitalers, or something lke that. After proving my mint cooking making, basket weaving and scoutery skills they awarded me a merit badge of honor, as well as the ability to tap into the power of the god(s) of my choice to stab people better, or something of that nature. I'm thinking of choosing one of those gods that are from outer space and look like a sea creature. I hear people are MAD about them!

Even better still, at level five I can barge into peoples houses and demand free room and board! And they even expect me to do it! I can't wait..I wonder where I should stay first...

OOC: Sharpe now has the Hospitaler Theme ;)

+++You can't enter people's homes like that, and search their barrels and chests and cupboards, and keep what you find!+++

+++That'd be most strange and lacking common sense+++

There was a brief lull in the conversations around the tavern, as if in response to some unseen signal. Just before the normal hubbub would have reasserted itself, the front door slammed briskly open, and a young woman strode in.

She was just over average height, with an athletic build- pleasantly attractive, with an undefinable exotic hint to her features. She had a wavy mane of dark hair, unbound and unbraided nearly to her waist, and her skin had just the faintest tinge of golden-brown color. She wore close-fitted armor of small bright red scales under a black leather longcoat (similar to a sailor's oilcloth coat)- and the hilt of a very large curved sword was visible behind one shoulder. Her smile was broad and infectious- and it was almost as an afterthought that one might notice her eyes were orbs of featureless silvery-white. "Still a dive, I see, though no place like the Nest," she said clearly, with an odd, musical accent. She paused, looking deliberately at the nearest of the bouncers.

An instant later, the broad scarred fellow who had been as unremarkable as the furniture for hours now, absolutely unworthy of notice, broke out in a wide (though unsightly) smile. "And you are still Joy!," he hooted, with what might have been a comradely laugh.

"Indeed I am," the woman replied with a nod, before raising one arm and bowing to the patrons of the place. As she straightened back up, she began to head for an empty table...

The door opens and a man with a bald head, dressed in fine robes that signify that he is a servant of the Temple of Lauto hurriedly enters the tavern carrying a huge tome. As he moves towards an empty table some papers fall from the large book. The man, showing cat-like reflexes, quickly snatches them up, takes a deep breath, then exhales slowly. He then sits at an empty table in such a way that he has a clear view of all of the patrons of the tavern. With a keen eye, he scans the area looking at the adventurers around the room, finally setting his eyes on a group sitting at a table. A few moments later, he shifts his body in effort to get out of the seat with the intent of moving towards the group....

OOC: This is the start of an adventure (Level 3-5) ...still waiting for a green light from the judges...come'n on judges...you can do it. :) I'll give you 10 gps a piece.

Excelent idea my mechanical mute! Sharpe says. I'll be sure to loot them as well!

Sensing an adventure, Sharpe rushes over to waylay the man. Hail and well met adventurer seeker! Are you tired of those boring old adventurers? Want something new and exciting? Well have I got a deal for you! Act now and you can hire a Knight Hospitaler for your adventure! he says brandishing his badge.

But wait, there's more! I'll throw in my bard class absolutely free! Not good enough for you? How about a real live white dragon? That's right, two adventurers for the price of two! Don't miss out on this fine deal! he says, shepherding the man to a table.

OOC: Sharpe, level 3 bard + white dragon (veserab) mount happy to join the adventure! (I do have two characters in adventurers though, so I would be happy to step aside for those who don't have any in adventures).
