After feeding another strip of dragon wing to Virgil the warlord looks up at Jahred. You can count on my steel...and I know a fighter who can dish out a lot of pain. I've seen him do it first hand...to this dragon.

Fretting over her financial woes and lost in thought, Auntie Mab hadn't even noticed the young constable's entry. Fortunately for his mistress though, Tristram was paying better attention.

*Skreep!,* says the brown rat, tugging on the old woman's sleeve and motioning toward the young man with a foreclaw.

"What's that dearie? Oh, another adventure is it? Well, we do certainly need the gold. And if this is the one Luran spoke of, we can finally help my poor little Yenros out of that dismal hospital," says Mab getting up out of her barstool.

"Fear not!," says the old woman in her most mysterious voice, making a small curtsey to the constable. "For I am Mabbeth Tarmikos, slayer of demons, greebles, and the dreaded bazzlebaum, and a friend to the fey of the seelie courts. I am privy to the secrets of fate and destiny, and wield a formidable arcane power!"

"But, you can call me Auntie Mab dearie. So, where are you from love, and what's all this you say about criminals and ruffians?"

The door open and a shifter enter. He has a mean look, his armor is dirty with dried blood, mud and another green substance. He has a large sword in his back. He sits at the bar and sit down and ask for a mug of ale that he drinks in a few seconds.

"That bastard still play with me as his toy." mutter the shifter as he wipe off his mouth. "My name is Gloom. If you have a worthy cause to die for, I'm your man."

Vermitrax raised his gaze. Perhaps that girl was a good target. She seemed naive enough to embark on a dangerous quest. She also didn't seem to have overly developed morale, as to work with a necromancer, or not enough wits to actually know what a necromancer was. He couldn't lose anything by trying, now, could he?
Grabbing his gear, and leaving his empty table, he approaches Vanessa's one. "Greetings young one," he started. "Perhaps you'll honour me with permission to seat at your table?" he said, with his most diplomatic tone, and sported a brief and thin smile."I happen to be a stranger to this town, and meeting people and making contacts is in my best interest."

Gloom is officially a Defender as a Paladin, but he is very Strikish and really not Leader...[/SBLOCK]

OOC: Devinihm is technically a controller, though I don't know how good a job I do at control. He's also a level below the minimum, and unlike Velmont, I don't have a means to bump him up. He's fairly squishy, and as his multiple near-deaths in the last adventurs showed, I'm not sure he fares well below-minimum or at minimum for an adventure. If you feel the adventure will be moderately tough on its intended level set, then probably best I leave Devinihm 'out shopping' like he is now.
