A crash of thunder echoes through the tavern as lightning illuminates a dark shape framed in doorway.

Who is a midget bear dearie?
it demands as it walks in, horned helm shadowing the terrifying face from view.

OOC:
So that is #4:
1) jbear's Leather
2) WEContact's Haaku
3) Son of Meepo's Fhangrim
4) ANGRYxPIRATE's Gneil

Do I have a taker for 5th spot?

Thanks for giving me a second chance! I promise to do better this time around. This adventure is actually going to contain some honest to goodness roleplay *gasp*! And I will be using Google Docs for the maps!

OOC: I think that's all we're gonna get! Personally I think you should leave the encounter budgets as they would be for 5 or 6 PCs. ;) Oh, and don't sweat Catastrophe, it really wasn't bad. A couple hiccups running combat and a couple of delayed updates are nowhere near bad enough to engender doubts about your ability as a DM. Every experience is a learning experience.

OOC: I certainly have no qualms about taking on encounters designed for 5 PCs. Leather is a total beast. He's about as well built as a fighter can get (in my humble opinion).

Kruk jolts from his slumber at a table and belches loudly. Hmmmmff Instinctively he checks his pouch of gold to see if it is still there. Seeing that it was he sighs with a big smile on his face. Barkeep!...nevermind! The fighter winces as he suddenly realizes his head is throbbing in pain.

The door open and a Genasi enter the Tavern. He wears a finely made leather armor and wear a sturdy and well decorated longsword. He sits down at the bar. "Jarel-karn, mercenary and bodyguard. I would like a cup of wine please... and do you have hot bath. After a month at sea and in a swamp, I feel like the smell doesn't want to get away."
