Exotic Weapon Master question.

If someone with the search function would like to have a dig around, I recall there being an identical thread in which Hypersmurf concluded that you still only got the 1:1 ratio from Power Attack when wielding in one-hand, irrespective of uncanny blow.

I understand you can rule 0 anything you want. But the FAQ is "Official" - isnt it ? Posted in the WOTC web site under "Game Rules"

How many times has this exact same thing come up this week? Why this same thing over and over again all of a sudden? It's starting to get weird.

Is this the thread you are looking for?

Ysgarran.

p.s.
I would lean towards ruling that using an one handed exotic weapon in one hand with the 'Uncanny Blow' feature would allow you the use of the two-handed power attack benefit. (i.e. subtract a number from all melee attack rolls and add twice the number subtracted from your attack rolls to all of your damage rolls with that weapon). These things can be tricky to word. I lean this because it seems like it would be completely useless feature of 'Uncanny Blow' otherwise.

I had a character dip into EWM just for the Uncanny Blow ability, and even I, a twink-happy munchkin*, can't possibly justify giving 2:1 Power Attack when using it one-handed.

Well, the way I read it is that the weapon master gets the two-handed power attack bonus with the exotic one-handed weapon in one hand if it's the weapon master's weapon of choice.
