I'm going to include my trip to GenCon, and other gaming stuff like board games, both for me and my kids. I don't think I break $1000, even including those things.

Now, don't get me started on how much I've spent on food for games....it's somewhere around way too much.

Lol, if that was included then I would be quite a bit more embarrassed about the amount I spent last year :D .

Okay, I'll admit it...I hoard books. Between work, school, homework, sleep and married life, I have next to no gaming time. But since I graduate in about three months, I can justify my cash expenditure by saying "I''ll start up again after finals. In the meantime, I'm preparing. I can stop anytime I want to, honest. (yeah right)."

I'm thinking $200-$400, although between Warhammer, d20 variants, SilCore and Magic the Gathering, that's probably understated. I have an excuse, though: counting only my gaming-based income, I made a profit last year. :)

Well according to Quicken I spent a hair over $1700 on RPGs in 2004. Just for kicks I checked to see how much I spent on groceries, and it's actually about $200 less than I spent on RPGs.

As I said in the other thread:

Hi, my name is Talus, and I'm addicted to buying RPGs.

Oh, and just for kicks I had Quicken break it down to where I spent my money:

Main FLGS: 27.40%
EN World Shop: 14.34%
Waldenbooks: 12.68%
Books-A-Million: 11.47%
Amazon: 8.73%
Secondary FLGS: 6.59%
Paizo: 4.63%

The rest of the percentages needed to make 100 was divided among publisher-direct orders and four or five places where I ordered one or two SW minis to finish out my collection.

I think I got approximately 20 books plus a dozen PDFs, so I spent around 500$ I guess. I think I will spend much less in 2005 though.
