Around 100 GB Pounds which works out to probably just shy of $200, think it may be higher this year as there are a few must buy products coming for me, which are not cheap (Wilderlands boxed set and some Conan stuff)

I only bought Unearthed Arcana this year, and I think that I'm still in the first category even if you count 2003 as well.

For some reason, in 2004 I've been spending less but actually playing more! I've been very close to buying new books several times during the year, but I always changed my mind... from what I've seen around, the new Complete and Races of series were worth little for me, since I already have enough character material for the next 20 characters or so, and the new content was often questionable...

Actually those books series have (weird enough) made me nostalgic of 3.0, and I am planning to buy some oldies instead, such as the Rokugan setting books. The Libris Mortis is however still on my buying list when I find it at discount.

I'm anal retentive about some hobby expenditures. I spent exactly $611.72 including taxes. Considering I've spent more than that on a single camera lens or nearly as much on a software suite, I don't think it's very much, it's only a bit more than $50/month. I'd be concerned if I ever broke a $1,000.

600-1000 of my dollars, which may be less of yours, please denote currency, PLEASE! :P

Im a minis-**** so I buy up a bit
then I might buy a battlemap on a whim, some more dice, that odd looking book with lots of cool art you'll photocopy for your other system game, then eventually read it and start running new book with pretty art... you get the idea

I'm also in the U$600-1000 bracket, but perhaps it is a little more.

Still, considering how much time I spend on my hobby and compare it with other hobbies I find that my cost per hour is lower, and many spend more a year.

Okay, how about you start -- what kind of dollars do you spend? ;)

I spend U.S. dollars. I estimated $600-$1,000. I try to keep myself to roughly $80 a month, though I don't keep accurate count. With minis, it's possible that I went a bit over the $1,000 mark last year, but I'm guessing not. Right around there at any rate.

I just totaled my yearly spending last night. I spent over $7000 on gaming supplies last year. I don't know whether to be proud or ashamed.

My guesstimate is in the $400-600 range. Now I am tempted to start keeping better track, like you Quicken people, but I'm afraid the results will scare me.
