Exploring the Hase-Suna Complex (Manzanita judging) [Concluded]

Zurd steps out of the Inn early, excited to get back on the road. He is again in his traveling clothes and armor a little less splendid than his usual foppery.

Kurg is sporting the custom backpack full with his share of the food and his water and a couple of his masters things.

As the group comes out he greats each of them in turn and makes small talk until they are ready to depart.

He seems a little sullen this morning dispute his excitement to get back in the mission mode.

When the group, augmented by its new gourmet cleric, is ready to hit the road again, you all meet at the tavern. In the meantime, you have all rested and been healed (full HP everyone!), and had a chance to stock up on supplies. (Please make any needed purchases now. Except for Zurd, who is down 4 days of rations (and up by a bit of raw lizardflesh), everyone else has had all their rations eaten.)

OOC: I just realized I have no idea what Kol's money situation is. His current sheet is one saved well before the crash. I tried to scan the back posts to see the split but havent had much success. 1 gold and some silver wont buy much food.

Having stuffed his backpack with all manner of herbs, spices and non-perishables, plus a couple of cooked chickens and a leg of ham for morning tea, Kyle meets the others outside the Inn "Well, what ho, ready, willing and able, am I" he says munching on a chicken leg "Anyone need a heart starter?" he asks proferring the half chewed apendage.

"Why so sullen friend Zurd?" the fat dwarf asks "We're off on a new adventure"

No worries Kol, Kyle has you covered for food. He'll make anything edible I'vetaken 55gp off Kyle's sheet for travelling costs.

Lokin emerges from the inn in good spirits. He has his new shield strapped to his left forearm and as backpack full of new rations. Lokin walks up next to Payne when she exits the inn.

"Well, looks like we're back where we started. Everything alright with you?"

Payne takes her time the next morning exiting the Inn, finding once again everyone to be waiting for her outside. Stretching a bit, before bringing one gloved hand up to shield sensitive orbs from the sun's invasion. ``Man.. that's bright.`` Fighting the urge to hiss at the sunny rays, fingers rub at her eyes before hand is dropped and she nods to Lokin. ``Oh. Yeah, things are ... all right. Weird. But all right. Nice shield you got there.`` She pats his shoulder then looks about. ``We all here?``

"Did Filalia finally decide if she was coming?" Kongu asks. She is excited, clearly ready to return to the adventure. "She's been uncertain. I thought when we were walking back to Orussus, she said she had decided to go back to the stronghold with us, but yesterday she sounded like she was uncertain again. Maybe we should wait a bit longer, and then leave? I'd wonder if she was sleeping late, except elves don't sleep at all. I'd expect her to be the first one up if she was coming."

Last call, Question. If you don't post in the next 24 hours, we'll understand you've quit the game. If you rejoin us quickly enough, we'll suppose you catch up with the group on the road. Since there's a heavily-armored fighter and a dwarf, Filalia would easily be able to catch up.

"Bah! More treasure for the rest of us then!" called Kol still wiping sleep from his eyes. "O'course last time when I thought she wasn't around she snuck up on me! Sneaky elves...Cant trust 'em!"

The group returns along the same road as before. It's midday when you get to the start of the path through the forest. You could continue straight to the complex (which would get you there before dusk), go slowly through the woods to gather more food (which would require camping one night), or stop at the travellers' inn where you (minus Kyle) stayed when you had to carry Lokin (it's quite close to this spot). A glance at the character sheets shows that only Lokin, Zurd and Kongu have stocked up on food this time -- did I miss anything?) What do you do?

OOC: I still havent found how much coin Kol was supposed to have. Or I prolly would have bought some food as well. No lizard for him thanks!
