Extrapolate: What do you think is going to be in "Complete Divine"

And, if we're good enough ( ), maybe even rules for allowing clerics to use axiomatic &/or anarchic energy (or axiomatic/anarchic energy planes, ala the positive/negative planes).

FFG's Path of Faith already has rules for this. No reason to wait.

 I'm shocked anyone would even suggest this.

Not used to people having a differing opinion than you? :)

I thought it was a fine take on the concept, and much more flavorful than the MT.

The only one thing I can prognosticate is the return of the prestige domain. It was a good splatbook concept, and it was practically ignored after DotF, so I'd not be surprised if they came back.

Demiurge out.

Apparently not Psion and I certainly agree. I'd definitely use Hallowed Mage over MT any day.

Ciran,

Was thinking animism, but hey what ever works! ;)

I thought it was a good concept too. It's been kinda used in the Draconomicon, but mostly what we've seen is prestige domains being made normal domains. The idea of prestige domains does have a few issues if you try to tie them into the deity rules in D&Dg tho.

Why? Hallowed Mage is a great PC class. So what if you don't get ALL the cleric and wizard/sorcerer spells? The other benefits FAR out weight the crappiness and general "ugh" factor of a Mystic Theurge IMO.
I guess I wasn't clear. I consider the Hallowed Mage to be one of the most overpowered abominations I've seen in a long time. I laughed out loud when reading it.

I agree - the "other benefits" certainly do outweigh the Mystic Theurge... outweigh indeed.

arn,

I think both Psion and I mis-interpreted what you said. I'm not 100% sure it's THAT overpowered compared to some in BoED, but I will agree it's a VERY strong class. Certainly more flavorful than MT, and possibly stronger. But not entirely as MT increases ALL spellcasting, where as Hallowed Mage, you get your own spell list. Still I respect your opinion. I just don't agree entirely with it.
