Fair 1st level ranged touch attack spell?

I don't know all the current spells outside the SRD.

Is there a ranged touch damage dealing spell that is 1st level?

Like, ranged touch attack, do 1d6 per 2 levels, max 3d6 or something? Or 1d4 per level up to level 5?

What is fair compared to boring bland disgusting magic missile?

My favorite 1st level spell is Ray of enfeeblement. Touch, no save D6+ 1/2 level to strength. It has a way of turning ogres into little pansies at about level 6. As far as ranged touch for regular damage I can't think of any off hand. Might want to check the spell compendium if you have it.

Produce Flame. Great spell, more than one shot too and you can throw several in one round with Rapid Shot!

Oh, Wizard spell? I'd go for the Reserve feats, Acidic Splash (touch attack) or Fiery Burst (Refl save). The Lesser orb spells will do the same for you. No save, ranged touch attack.

Is it 1d6 and that's it, or more? or what?

Light of Lunia, from the SC. You can throw both beams in 1 round if you want. Each does 1d6 damage, 2d6 against evil outsiders and undead.

Except for the sonic one, which does Xd6 instead. This is because sonic resistance/immunity is much less common.
