They have some different abilities.I would make these the same as small warforged (which were supposed to be out by now).

I'd rather they stay separate, myself. Eberron is becoming increasingly less distinct as WotC continue to port elements that originated there into core D&D.I would make these the same as small warforged (which were supposed to be out by now).
Warforged are already everywhere in D&D for “sentient construct” PC. As with dwarves and elves it’s better to have one Uber version of sentient construct which can be fluffed to suit the setting.I'd rather they stay separate, myself. I would reckon most of the Species are 2024 style reprints, o matter what they are.I don't see them reprinting Spelljammer or Eberron species in the 3rd DLC. I think only couple, a few at most will be updates of species, they are selling this as new species, not a species update, the Dhampyr is only a new species, because it wasn't a race/species before, but rather a lineage instead (like Hexborn & Reborn). I think Hexborn & Reborn may or may not be in it. Same with Genasi. But there is plenty of space in FR for new species. Chitines, Loxo, Wemics, Shades, Saurials, etc...

Because the 2014 versions remain current until an updated version is released. So there is a lot of pressure for WotC to issue new versions of anything someone might want to play before people stat to become angry that they have to buy an outdated book in order to play X.Why?

This pushes completely new stuff towards the back of the queue.
Really, why not? Tons of options thst need updating, and if theybdid something like a Realmspace supplement, people will want the 2024 rules for Gith and so on.Why?
Why would it be? That's what we are seeing with Eberron and Astarions.Yeah but isn't that largely the job of general books instead if setting books?
