Falling Skies, Season 2 - anybody watching?

And actually, I'm fairly sure that Falling Skies is doing pretty well, audience wise. I don't know how well the audience size squares with the episode cost (see what happened with Terra Nova). it could average 3M viewers a week and still get cancelled.

It has already been renewed for a 3rd season.

True in many cases, but at least in the case of "The Walking Dead", it was not done out of some sense of desperation - their aftershow started at the height of the show's popularity, possibly prior to its zenith.

Cable vs Network and the short seasons. Not saying anything about being cancel, just that shows have a loyal fan base that in today's market can be used for instant feedback. The aftershow format is cheap, it promotes the show and it allows fans to feel they are involved.
