Spoilers Falllout season 2 discussion

Lucy's plotline is fun so far. I'm enjoying the moral conflicts she's facing. It's going to be interesting to see how she handles things. I can see her potentially, and reluctantly, buying into her father's plans and going with the "Greater Good" reasoning.

I enjoy getting a taste of the pre-bomb era universe, but I feel like we're wasting time on these flash-back scenes. So little is progressing in the other plots in comparison.

I'm still ultimately enjoying the show, but it's trying to do too much
Hank certainly wasted no time ramping up once he got past the prototype stage.

I think the major issue this season is that there's no real sense that it's building to anything. Plotlines are moving, but they don't feel like they're converging the way they did last season, and nobody feels like they have any great goal to accomplish. Even Hank's endeavours seem merely a means to an end, with no real hint what that end is.

Bingo. Everyone is more or less spinning wheels and nothing major will happen until the final episode where too much will need to happen. It’s the Amazon Prime template and it’s ruined nearly every show they get their hands on.

I'm enjoying the season. It's not as fun as S1.

I feel like a huge chunk of it is just fanservice. Don't get me wrong I'll eat it up with the best of them especially when Legate Culkin made an appearance but I do wish there was a proper plot.

It's all just a big build up for an even more dramatic reveal and massive cliff hanger.

  • The Battle with the Deathclaws took six days to film, due to the fact the showrunners opted to not rely solely on visual effects. Instead, the team at Legacy Effects created a giant puppet, which had to be manned by three or four people.
  • Can we trust that this is, in fact, House's final final form?
"That's an interesting question. I'm not answering that, but I'm very intrigued by the question" the showrunner replies.
  • Walton Goggins: "I can tell you that in episode 8, without giving something away to your audience, something profound happens for both the Ghoul and Lucy that would also be my favorite"
  • Aaron Moten: "In other words, expect a long war," Moten teases, before backtracking a bit. "No, I just think people should expect the crescendo that we've been building toward, and to expect the fireworks."
  • Geneva Robertson-Dworet: "In these later episodes, we're starting to hint at larger questions: Who is Hank working for? Does he work for Vault-Tec?. And if he isn't, what is that larger presence? How many of our storylines are tied up in that larger villain story that we are slowly starting to hint?"

Interesting. Since this season is nearing its conclusion, I assume much of what they're hinting at is for a future season/s? (I am operating on the assumption that they'll try to milk this show for as long as they profitably can rather than give us a proper story with a beginning, middle, and end.)

No idea.

Theres 2 options for Hank to work with. Enclave remns is and Mr House.

I'm leaning towards House.

Vault Tecs functionally dead. Hanks gone rogue and Vault 31-33 have failed at least from preserving Vault Tec.
