What was the purpose of the congresswoman’s head? What was downside of her death?

Why would the others follow the ghoul to Colorado?

What is phase 2? Is the super mutant tied to it? Any game tie in that could provide clues?

The Congress women's good-hearted personality was being shared with the mind controlled. Without her, they were basically empty automatons.

Except that Hank was chipped afterwards, and he seemed to have that same helpful persona after he mindwiped himself.

Seemed less intense. I suspect it was the "ghost" of his original personality, or maybe some leftover from the politician's presence in the network.

He did seem to go nearly comatose, though after the initial interaction. Im wondering if we will see the full effects of the congresswoman's death in season 3? I could see something along the lines of the personality template implant is successful, but the congresswoman being alive was driving the productivity somehow.

I sort of wonder if the brotherhood will take back stage a bit while other story threads take centre place. With Lucy and Max back together and the ghoul finding out his family went to Colorado I also think there will be less flashbacks.

Definitely keen to find out what phase 2 is. Maybe it opens all of the vaults, not sure how many would still be closed off though.

I believe the personality was bing imprinted on the chips as they were made. She wasn’t being live broadcast to all the chipped people.

The chip in Hank was one of the last made before the head was destroyed. All the old chipped people will probably still be chipper.

But they can’t make more chips like that now.

We’ll have to find out what Hank sent out into the wasteland. In the game there are mind controlled death claws. Made he sent some of those.

It was initially used in combination with massive radiation exposure in an attempt to develop rad-resistant humans, resulting in the supermutants, but change the nature of the environmental factors and you'll get a different set of adaptations.

Ah good to know. I just thought it was what created super mutants and I thought it was what the master was using to build his empire of mutants.
