arcady said:If in the process of doing it you include any new feats, prestige classes, or class variants make sure to make a fair amount of them sorcerer tailored and not Wizard tailored.
arcady said:The reason for which is that WotC left the Sorcerer kind of bland. It's a concept with potential and so far the only books to explore it have been Spells and Spellcraft (Sorcerer only feats) and the Kalamar Player's Guide (variant class: Spell Singer).
That's a message I'd like to send to anyone doing d20 stuff with the core magic rules. The sorcerer needs attention. It needs flavor. Not powering up (that'll just get vetoed by most DMs), but expanding and theming.
