There would have to be some kind of tradeoff, if you want to support traditional weapons of course. There's no reason to do so, although many games come up with a reason to do so.An option the players have no reason to take.

No joke: Babylon 5 still informs both my personal RP preferences, and the way I run my home game. I don't quite have as many characters that transform from "love to hate them" to "beloved character," but the overall ethos and style is absolutely a major influence.I've been wanting to run a D&D sandbox based on the show Babylon 5 for a while now.
A few dozen?!People in D&D just have plot armor like Rambo or a few dozen other action heroes - including the main characters in Star Wars.

They're making a Final Fantasy X movie?!A few dozen?!
A few hundred more like!

I don't see that any particular cast member is required to continue the franchise.probably because Vin Diesel wants to retire and/or move on with his life
Unfortunately "The Power of Grayaskull" RPG that was announced a few years back was cancelled. I was looking last week to see what the status was or if it came out already but was disappointed when I found out it got the axe.Masters of the Universe - swords, magic, lasers and usuable vehicle rules
