Famous people you'd like to see play a D&D campaign

First Post
Imagine you could put together the ideal players and DM for a D&D campaign. Who would it be? I thought of my ideal DM, and worked my way from there...

DM -- Stephen King

Arnold Schwarzeneggar as the stoic fighter
Hugh Jackman as the rugged ranger
Hillary Clinton as the compassionate healer
Robert DeNiro as the creepy sorceror
Kate Beckinsale as the sizzling rogue

It's a well rounded, international bunch. I think they'd kick some evil butt.

DM -- Terry Gilliam

Christina Ricci as the off-beat cleric
Fred Ward as the world-weary fighter
Julia Roberts as the rogue with a heart of gold
Peter Gabriel as the bizarre wizard

:D

So will this be anything like celebrity poker? Televised too?

For some good roleplay I'd like to see some changes to some of the types we label on the actors. What if Arnold wants to play a bard? Frilly pink lace and all? I'm sure not going to say no! :p Or how about Hilary as a raging female barbarian? Bill could be her weak little sorcerer cohort!

And that's vampire rogue for Kate, black studded leather and all!

Winona Rider as the light-fingered Rogue!
Jerry Springer as the sleazy-entertaining Bard!
Alex Trabec as the pasty-faced, know-it-all Wwizard!
Bob Barker as the wise old Druid surrounded by young beutiful nymphs/dryads!
and Shaq O'Neil as the tall, leaping Barbarian of legend!

...this is fun. :p

DM - Kevin Smith. (Hey, gaming's supposed to be fun, right? ;) )

Eric Bana as the raging half-orc barbarian.
Cate Blanchett as the elf wizard.
Kevin Spacey as the commoner ;)
Johnny Depp as any character. Really.

I second that.

DM: Cheech Marin (a very smart guy, if you didn't know)

Lawrence Fishburne: Samurai
Clint Eastwood: Grizzled Ranger
Forest Whitaker: Cleric
Nicol Williamson: Wizard (played Merlin in Excalibur)
Alex Lifeson: Wisecracking Bard (Rush's guitar player)
William Sanderson: wise/meticulous Rogue (he played J. F. Sebastion in Bladerunner, and Larry on Newhart)

Okay, my group would have to be a large one.

James Earl Jones - The DM

Bruce Campbell - The Semi-Competent fighter.
Vin Diesel - As the party Barbarian
Steve Buscemi - As the self-interested Rogue.
Norm McDonald - The party Bard, with the Jester Prestige class.
Patrick Stewart - As the party's Paladin.
Tim Curry - As the party's bungling illusionist.
Kiefer Sutherland - The party's pyromaniac Red Wizard.
Gary Busey - As the Drunken Cleric.
Catherine Zeta Jones - As the party Swashbuckler.

And finally Reese Witherspoon...Don't have a clue where she'd fit in the party, but figured I'd throw her in just to be safe.
:D

Oh yeah.... Johnny Depp... and Kevin Smith, that would be a fun game.

My list:

DM - Either Terry Pratchett (the Author of the Discworld books) or Chuck Palahniuk (the author of Fight Club)

Edward Norton - The neurotic rogue
Samuel L. Jackson - The Bad@ss mo fo Fighter
Sean Connery (As portaryed on SNL) - The Dirty Old Wizard*
Dave King (The Singer for Flogging Molly) - The "Freedom!"-yelling Celtic Bard
The Pope - The group's Cleric

*With a grudge against Alex Trebeck's wizard that somebody else suggested. "Up yours, Trebeck!"
