So it's my understanding that Marvel had a lot of control over this movie. Do you think it will do well going from comic book to the big screen?

I don't know if I would go so far as to say it will be my favorite film or even necessarily "great" but it should be fun so for that reason I do plan on seeing it.

Sure, I might be disapointed and it isn't fun, or I could be blown away and forever after become obsessed with it (sleeping with a dvd copy of it next to my bed side while I sleep and singing its praises when I'm awake ;) )... but, in any case, if your poll is to see who is looking forward to seeing it, then, yeah, I am looking forward to seeing it.

Hmmm... is there a third option? I am very skeptical whether it will be any good, but I'm going to go and see it anyway. Hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised like I was with Spider-Man and X-Men.

I just happened to be reading something about 'Ultimate FF' and it looks a little as if the film is based more upon that than the original (c.f. doctor Doom).

Originally I wasn't interested in the film since it seemed so far removed from the FF I knew and loved as I grew up, but now... could be interesting to see.

I may go...if I don't have anything else to do. I have I found I have already mind up my mind on it, which is unfair to the movie - I think it was the selection of trailer or the cast.

I don't fit your digital poll.

I think it is probably going to stink. It'll probably suck slimy aquarium rocks that have been piled up behind a toilet for a month. Backwards, through a straw.

But I'm going to go see it anyway, because a small part of me is a sad little comics fanboy.

All I really need is one good, "It's clobberin' time!" and I'll be content.

I need the third option too. I will be surprised if this movie rates any better than a 6 out of 10, but I will likely see it in the theaters.

My group of friends from high school tries to get together to see comic book movies when the come out, even if they are going to be bad.

Other than the fact that the Thing in the previews looks like some kind of claymation reject, I'm actually fairly excited about the movie. I'm not expecting it to be wonderful, but I'm expecting it to entertain me at least as well as the first X-men film.

Video, for me. Not enough cash or time to see everything that comes out, so I'm holding off on this one until, oh, November or so.
