But, that aside. Exalted isn't level based, is it? And I don't think Earthdawn is either.

But, that aside. Exalted isn't level based, is it? And I don't think Earthdawn is either.
It is and it isn't. W&W might be the least D&D-like of all the spinoffs. Its classless, has no iterative attacks, handles damage differently, etc. it is kind of like D20 was scraped down to the foundation, then rebuilt. But for 3Ed D&D, it would not exist...but it plays very differently.
