I think it's too bad. FFE has some great ideas. True, I've never picked up anything of theirs because the production values haven't excited me enough to cause me to buy, but I certainly don't wish they would leave the industry or anything like that.

Too Harsh

If you don't like thier products, I understand, but hoping that they would go out of buisiness is too harsh. There are those who like thier products, and reviews say that the mistakes of the past have been much improved recently. I personally do not wish any company would go out of business, though I realize that is a fact of business life, particularly in this industry.

Does anyone know if this will impact their agreement with FanPro on the old FASA line?

suprised that they are putting these out still. Any idea if they are making money? It's only the shadowrun stuff right?

Dang. I was really hoping that they would drop the license for the CrossGen stuff. I want to see d20 versions of Way of the Rat and The Path, just NOT by Fast Forward. Oh well...

As for FAF's situation, from what I've read Drawmij comes off as a bit of an @$$, so you get what you deserve sometimes, I suppose.

If it was only their products that leave a bad taste, i wouldn't say it that harsh, but the owner is an >>>>>[3.5Kb deleted by SysOp]<<<<<

The ideas and properties that are used by FFE should be used by others that do know how to make a great product. If FFE should go belly up, other D20 companies could grab up those properties on the cheap and could do something good with it.

Fast Forward is only the US ditributor for BattleTech and ShadowRun, they don't produce anything themselves. I think that there won't be any problems for these two lines, they actually make money distributing other company products. Classic BattleTech is still pretty big, has a large mini line, and actually gained a lot of new faces with the introduction of clickytech. ShadowRun is still a RPG with a very big and loyal following...
