Fastest Styleset?

Just wondering what might be the fastest loading styleset?

(i.e. minimalism being key ... small icon graphics, least background scripts that need to run if there is such a thing, etc.)

I am guessing default but with the experiments for changing to (slightly) larger graphic icons and all I am realizing that this may not always be the case.

So, any of the others really really minimal?

Stealth doesn't seem far off but, frankly,I'm too used to the black background and feel disoriented without it

I'm on a 24K connection when I read this site which is why I am looking for whatever cuts I can find..

Clarification - this is NOT a complaint in any way about the stylesets and their size. Just a question as to which one, from the design perspective, might be the quickest/most minimal.

PS. On a similar note, are the graphics on the front page for upcoming previews (lower right hand side) a per-user option in the control panel that I simply can't find? Or are they just "on" for everyone now?

It just adds to the loading time of the front page (again, for the aforementioned reason) and so I find myself missing the speed at which the front page used to load. - again, this is not a complaint, just a question in case it was a per-user option that I couldn't find.

Stealth is by far the fastest since it has no texture graphics at all. PHB is the slowest. Once the graphics are cached though they all should load at the same speed. But in your case I'd go with Stealth.
