In Tome and Blood, the Fatespinner's Spin Fate ability says you can "store a maximum spin value equal to his caster level" (p. 59).
A level 5 wizard/level 1 fatespinner would have a caster level of 5, and thus have a max spin value of 5, since they don't get a spellcasting level from the first level of the prestige class. However, the example the book gives says the character could store 6 points of spin.
Could someone explain this apparent discrepancy? Thanks in advance.
