Favorite Beer & Pretzels Game?

We play:

Fluxx
Give Me the Brain
Upwords
Munchkin
Occasionally Clue or Monopoly

I rarely play Magic anymore, but I take a lot of pleasure in pulling out my decks that haven't seen a new card since 1999 and defeating people with them. (Most of my cards are from'92 to about '96.)

We usually play the Citadels card game from FFG. Lot's o fun. Of course we've also played Heroquest, Star Wars duels, Risk (both versions), and Carcasonne.

Surprised no one has mentioned:

WIZ WAR!
Which is an awful lot of fun, if you can find a copy. Chessex keeps telling us the new edition if on the way, but it never shows. <sigh>

We also like Fluxx, Apples to Apples, and the 20th anniversary edition of Trivial Pursuit - which is still hard but at least we have a good shot at some of the questions!

Another vote for Settlers of Cataan. The newest Civilization board game is amazing, but requires Risk-level committment and chess-like attention. Carcasonne is a great lightweight game for when the brain isn't up for the others, or after the brain has been turned to mush by the others.

Zombies!!! 1 (widescreen edition)
Zombies!!! 2 (Zombie Corps[e])
Zombies!!! 3 (Mall Walkers)
...and, last but not least, Zombies!!! 3.5, Not Dead Yet card expansion.

Ahhhh, hours of shotgun-wielding, brain-eating goodness..!

I'm dividing my list of favorite rpg alternatives into three sublists.

The first category is quick and easy games, good for filling a few minutes while waiting for everybody to show up: Pirateer, KotD Hack!, Farkle, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Mario Kart Double Dash, and Super Monkey Ball (1 and 2).

The second is undemanding games of a moderate length; two or three of them (interspersed with games from the first category) make for a relaxing break from the usual campaign: Robo Rally, Avalon Hill's Assassin (a relatively obscure board/card game that's loads of fun), Malarky/Balderdash, Carcassonne, the Classic Dungeon!, and Mario Party (4 and 5).

My third category is longer, more intensive games that usually make for a full evening's option themselves: Diplomacy and Settlers of Catan (with expansions).

Lots of other games have already been mentioned in this thread that I've also played and enjoyed; the above list merely represents the games that my wife and I actually own (and thus see use in my gaming groups, as we typically game at my place, as it inevitably has the largest gaming library).
