Favorite Campaign setting

Iron Kingdoms, Star Wars, and Planescape when not running a psuedo-Rifts campaign using D20 Modern. Rokugan and the new Forgotten Realms are both pretty good as well.

Thanks Starman...I had heard about Arcana Unearthed, but didn't realize a new campaign would be part of the deal. Pretty neat.

I'm getting my copy of Midnight tomorrow (there's a book signing in Arlington). I can't wait to read it myself.

No prob. Let us know what you think of Midnight when you have a chance to read it.

Midnight looks great, because of lack of clerics you get cool bloodlines !
I havent actually started the game yet but my dm is good so its gonna be gruesome !!!!!!

I run a home brew. But if I were to run a published setting it would be:

Kingdoms of Kalamar I just love the detail, and the products Kenzer has produced are all of the finest quality. As it is, my homebrew borrows heavily from Kalamar.

The only way I would run Forgotten realms is if I had no one in my group who had ever read any of the novels. Presently I have two players who have, so that's right out.

Y'see, I'd be willing to run FR even if my players had read the novels, as long as from the outset they understood that what they had read was irrelevant - I will not be bound by the actions of uber-characters in novels attached to what is primarily a game setting.

But then FR doesn't particularly do it for me anyway.

Planescape and Toril (Which I say because campaigns in any Torilian settings usually go between most or all of them, so I can't pick a favourite). And my own ones, of course.

Dragonlance. I can't wait for the new Campaign Setting to hit stores in August.

Actually, I am too. Even though I didn't enjoy Dragonlance as a Campaign Setting in 1e or 2e I have the new book on pre-order. Don't know that I'll run a game there or not, but I might, or I might just adapt some material to FR.
