Okay, I've been listening to the various songs/cds by Battlelore and I guess if I had to choose just one to buy, I'd go with Sword's Song.

Man, why did you have to ask such a HARD question?

So had the post said, "orchestras playing the music of Beethoven," then would that have qualified?

And, technically, can you consider what you asked to really be a "question"? Without the punctuation?

I firmly and seriously believe that when the musical histories are rewritten later to encompass the current time period, Elton John, Paul McCartney, and Freddie Mercury will be listed amongst the prominent composers of the time, to be held in company with the likes of Bach, Mozart, and .... Beethoven. (giggle) (seriously, though, really)

I would think (just my personal take on the question, mind you) that a specific ensemble or orchestra would have qualified as an answer, to be honest. Not generally "orchestras playing Beethoven".
