Feat Advice for HUm Ftr6/Rog3

Falcon

First Post
He is about to advance to ftr6 and pick up two feats. I oringally was going to take Expertise and Blind-Fight or Improved Crit (rapier), and now since we lost our bruiser, may go Improved Crit and Power Attack. Has anyone used Blind-Fight, and if so, how useful have you found it?

This is a FR campaign and we will be either in the North or Waterdeep when he levels, so those regional feats are also allowed.

Here's the basic stats and stuff.
St: 14, Dex 20(22 with magic broach), Con 14, int 14, Wis 10, Cha 12. AC 24 (+6 Dex, +2 Mithril Chain Shirt, +1 Buckler). Total Attack Bonus with Rapier is (+2): 16/11. Damge: 1d6+4.
Fort: 8, Ref: 11, Will: 5. (Will soon be 11, 14, 8, as he gets the ftr6 bonuses and is adding +2 to his Cloak of Resistance).

Feats: Improved Initiative, Dodge, Mobility, Spring Attack, Iron Will, Weapons Finesse (Rapier), Weapons Focus (Rapier).

Our current party compositon will be Hum Rog9, Hum WizI9, Elf Bard9, 1/2 Elf Monk9, and my character. Hopefully we will be adding a cleric soon. I'd like to hear what people think would be good feats in these circumstances, and why.

Thanks!:)

The reason I was considering Power Attack over Weap Spec is that it would allow me to be more flexible in the damage dealing department (ie, other weapons, taking a chance to make one massively damaging strike after having guaged the enemy, etc.)

I have to agree with BvS about the over all goal ... you should take Power Attack and Improved Critical.

I'd also see if I could find a Keen Rapier to go with this.

As far as Blind Fight goes, how often have you needed it? If it comes up alot then its useful. Its a very much whats your game like kinda feat.

Since you've got Uncanny Dodge, Blind Fighting would mostly help you with miss chances. I would hold off on that.

I would want Weapon Specializiation (for a damage boost) and Expertise (for when he needs to hold stuff back).

A fighter sometimes just has to block opponents from getting to the rest of the group. Since you aren't going to have the hit points to last that long, you might want Expertise to try and avoid getting hit.

The better option may be to take Weapon Specialization and Leadership. Get an NPC cleric who gives you buff spells and healing.
