Festival of Halina: Adventurers Gone Wild! (Orsal Judging)

"Which will it be, then? The festival is either full of self-centred people, making someone who would stand up for what is right a novelty, or there are plenty of fine, usptanding festival-goers. Myself, I am convinced that righteousness is rare here by the behaviour of the town's chief. The chief should be the one with the most honour, since he should be an example to the others and the symbol of his clan's honour to all other clans. But this town's 'mayor' is the most dishonourable one in this whole festival, and that includes that immoral merchant lady and the two thieves they keep in the stocks."

"I think that few are rightous enough to risk the potential embarsasment of interveneing where they feel they are uninvolved." He says. "As for the 'Chief', if you mean the mayor, I know little of him. I was just rolling through, and thought I'd stop here for a few days."

"You may be right. Then again, I didn't intervene either."

"Yes, for some reason, the chief here is called the 'may-or', as I said before."

"Ahh, but you did, even if all you did was mention it to someone who helped. And for that, I thank you."

"Anyway, I do appologize for going on. And, as I said, I would like to hear more about you Miss Lasair, but it appears we have some time before dinner. I shall not keep you if you have more pressing needs, but if not, would you care to give the pleasure of your company? I would much prefer conversing with you over tuning my mandolin alone."

"I suppose...I do not know for certain where we are going--I am following Oirhandir, Troi, and Sunny, you see. You said that 'Halina shares her bounty with everyone, even those others might see as unworthy or undeserving'...What about those two in the stocks? All have been forbidden to share with them."

"I saw the guards feeding them last night, allowing them to sleep indoors, and clean themselves. I do think they will be allowed to leave before the festival is over, and they will surely not try to rob again here. It is a crude, but often effective punishment."

"Well, if they have no pressing need for you Miss Lasair, I would be glad to have your company."

"If you wish. I some how got the impression that at those two," he nods to Oirhandir and Scarlet, "wanted a bit of alone time, but perhaps it is my eyes decieving me. But if you are willing, I have no pressing things today, and would love to accompany all of you."

"You could be right, as I had gotten that sense earlier, but Oirhandir is the one who specifically invited me to come with them and persisted when I wanted to bow out."

Bront said:
"I don't believe I got your name Mr..."
"Oirhandir", finished the bard. He extended his hand to be shaken in the manner of men.
Bront said:
"Oooh, a duet, I'm excited just to see ya play." says Scarlet to Oirhandir.
Oirhandir smiled and returned to his companion. "Yes, I was hoping to get to that sometime today. But it seems that one never knows what might happen from one minute to the next in this place."
