Troi considers for a moment. "If I had ta choose, I'd say let's find out who tried abductin' Scarlet. Th' thing with Daphnie's importan', but I can look fer that later, an' I'm sure I can find somethin' else ta track whoever it is down."

"Then let us make haste to Valdor's camp", came Oirhandir's swift reply. He started walking to the south fields with Troi.

"Just make sure someone stays here on Watch" Ingus says. "Strange things seem to be afoot."

Fang and Sunny volunteer to stay back while Troi, Oirhandir, and anyone else who wishes heads back to Valdor's camp.

There are a few men talking to Lord Valdor as you approach. They look like other festival goers and merchants.

Oirhandir greeted Lord Valdor. "Any news?", he asked. Then, indicating the spot where Scarlet was attacked, he continued: "Troi has some skill in tracking, and would like to examine the spot where the attack took place." He then led Troi to the very place, trying not to disturb the surroundings any more than the commotion already had.

"Looks like they got away." Lord Valdor says, thanking them men, who head back to their perspective camps. "They had a head start, and it's a large festival. They probably slipped out into the woods."

Valdor points "The attack happened over there, she was actualy just out side of camp. I think she forgot something, or perhaps was heading back to catch you perhaps. She's asleep, and I didn't want to wake her to ask."

Indeed, the spot Valdor indicates has signs of a struggle, and is in just the right spot to allow little visability to any of the camps in the area, with the various tarps, wagons, tables and such. Oirhandir can point Troi over at where he found Scarlet, which was down accross the makeshift aisle, heading towards would would be ideal cover between a couple of unoccupied tarps.

"Hmm...there should still be tracking signs of the chase if it just happened recently, and perhaps not just scents considering the heavy footfalls that a running person leaves on the earth in these lands. The problem may be to separate the muggers from the pursuers."

Troi nods. "An' that's where th' scent can 'elp."

He proceeds to check the area thoroughly for tracks and scents, then attempts to track them, attempting to give equal attention to both the physical tracks and the scents.

The tracks are not much deeper than any other, given the wear the aisles get durring the festival, but there is an obvious path of running. Several footprints that begin to head down away, allong with several different scents. Unfortunately Troi does not recognize any of the scents as he tracks, either there are too many, or the scent on the cloth is simply too muddled.

"There's a lotta diff'rent scents 'ere... can't tell what's what, y'know? We'll see if things clear up later on, though."

Troi continues to follow the tracks.
