Festival of Halina (Orsal Judging)

Fang ignored the splatters of blood on his face, as he yanked his blade free from his first kill. Spinning around, he scaned the battlefield and spotted two men pressing Troi. Fang had found his next target.

"GAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!" Fang yelled in true Barbarian form as he charged with greatsword held high overhead.

OOC- Charge attack #3--> +11 (with charge) 2d6+9 damage.

OoC: I was wondering if you wanted us to roll our own or not, so I went ahead and did anyway just in case. I don't really mind how you do it.
OOC: Yep, I figured and appreciate the thought. I'll process this all tonight.

OOC [sblock] ok got a few mintues before I can't wake up in the morning;) . Seeing how they have bunched up Elise will move into a better postion (move action) and try to hit them all in a DC 14 color spray 15ft cone(standard action) with out getting into melee. No hitting party, if she can only hit two make one of them Phineus if possible talk to ya tommorrow night [/sblock]

Round 2

Fang Charges Phineus (#3 isn't chargable, Phineus is in the way), swing and hits for a moderate hit.
to hit: 4+12=16, dmg 3+2+10=15

Elise steps over behind Fang, chanting an arcane spell, and colored lights flair out from her fingers, both one of the men (3) fall unconsious, and Phineus is stunned, realing and reaching out blindly.

Oirhandir moves forward, draws his bow, and fires an arrow at the remaining man (4), but the arrow flies wide.

Phineus reals blindly

Troi swings his short sword at Phineus and connects for a solid hit, then steps back and whips the remaning man (4) and hits for a light hit.
to hit 11+7=18 Dmg 6+2=8, to hit 14+6=20, dmg 1+2=2

Sunny strikes at the remaining man (4) and strikes true, felling the man.
to hit 15+18=33, dmg 4+4=8

Lasair moves forward, but decides not to fire her crossbow into combat at Phineus.

Round 3:

Fang swings and connects with Phineus, dropping him.
to hit 2+12=14, dmg 4+2+10=16

Combat over :)

OOC: Let me know what you plan to do. You still have one sleeping guy.

*Lasair will try to make untrained Heal checks on whoever seems to be the most injured (but alive) and proceed until everyone is healed or dead. She will then bury the dead. Afterwards, assuming her companions have not looted these men's corpses, she will check how much money they have, in order to determine if they are poor folk driven to this banditry, in which case she will give some of her gold to them while they are unconscious to help them have enough to survive and feed their families, or if they are comparatively rich and greedy, in which case she will leave them with enough to do well but take some of their money and see if she can find the original owners to pay them back.*

"Does anyone have some rope to tie up the man who is unconscious? He will be awake soon, I surmise from his fitful rest, and so it would be great if we could bind him to keep him from trying anything aggressive that will get him hurt...Perhaps I can teach him that preying on travellers is never the right answer."

"Yeah, I got some rope on me." Troi says, pulling out a long length of roughly woven rope. He hands it to Lasair. "Here ya go... ya can do it, I never was too good wit' ropes an' whatnot. 'sides, if he manages ta get outta th' bind, what's he gonna do?" He smiles.

Lasair
"Perhaps I can teach him that preying on travellers is never the right answer."

Troi laughs. "Good luck with 'at one, Lasair." He says, smiling. "I kinda doubt he'd be willin' ta 'gree with 'at. Banditry an' whatnot's pretty easy if ya know how ta use a sword er somethin', an' leavin' it ain't easy, 'specially wit' th' legal cons'quences an' all..." He shakes his head.

He looks to Elise. "Ya wouldn't happen ta be able ta see if they've got anythin' magical on 'em, would ya?" He then looks to Oirhandir. "Or maybe ya do? I dunno, I knew a bard an' he knew some magic, maybe ya do too..." He shrugs. "I'm not really int'rested in anythin' less it's magical, 'cause I got quite a bit already, an' I don't wanna be takin' all th' goods fer m'self, y'know?" He smiles. "We'll split whatever ya find on 'em, an equal share fer each, y'know? Sound good with y'all?"

"Dad gummit!" Sunny says, walking over to Fang and slapping him on his back, "I thought I was gonna match you there! But right at the end, you got an extra one. Nuts!

Lost, 3 to 2. That's all right. You gave me a good run, that's for sure!

You're pretty handy with that there weapon, I must say. Glad you are on OUR side..."

Sunny leans over and whispers to Elise:

"Nice one, lass. I don't know 'Stuffnoldo's Whacky-Hacky' myself, but I have read about it, often. I might have to learn that one somebody. Sure makes 'em sleep, all cozy-like."

Oirhandir searched for his errant arrow, displeased that he couldn't hit the standing bandit as easily as he'd shot the tiny dragon.

On his way back, he tipped his hat to Ingus as if to say, "Indeed, you did hire the right team to guard your caravan, didn't you?"

He remarked to his teammates, "We ought to do something about the fallen. Perhaps there is enough dry wood nearby for a proper pyre."

Then he turned to Ingus and suggested, "Sir, if you think we are all ready for a rest, there is a good campsite over there where we could eat a quick meal and water the animals." He pointed to the clearing where he had spent a few nights with Rogier and the others on his last adventure.
