This is good news. I do hope they keep the rules as is and do not do a major overhaul of the system. I also hope they release Rogue Trader or a similarly themed title under the 40k license.

As I understand, nothing that could be seen as a 'minis' game was. Guess they don't want to create competition.

Not surprising,

I suspect all the games which included models that could be used for GW's core games were excluded from the agreement. It's just good business sense.
