Nothing particularly awesome about that creature except that the artist representation was awesome and always made me laugh.

I'd vote for the huecuva, but I think that appeared in Dragon or Dungeon recently. There it is, "The Ashen Covenant" in Dragon 364.

So, my #1 vote is for the Oriental dragons.

Good question. I always wondered what their back story was, also. The Fiend Folio entry is pretty cryptic.
