Fighting the Gray Tide (Miniature Painting)

Another paint-scheme test model. Yes it is a play on WW2 era colors. No, these are not "Space N*zis". That's why I'm trying to completely avoid red/white/black iconography. Also, I'm not playing 40k but OPR, which has significantly less edgelords.

My modular dungeon works pretty well but during play walls get knocked crooked occasionally and it drives me mad.

So I decided to magnetize the hundreds of wall pieces. It’s a new time sink but may help my ocd tendencies.

Here are my foam corner pieces, unpainted, ready for these small magnets.

Oh that’s gonna look cool and work well! Nice! You have more patience (or OCD) than me :D

Legend
Many years ago, Reaper offered a giant spider named Arakoth in one of their Kickstarter campaigns. I've been waiting years for Arakoth to become available to the rest of us and he finally did last month.

Usually on a miniature you want to make the face the focus, but what do you do about a spider? Your focus isn't going to be drawn to its eyes, so I hoped to make it's mandibles something you'd notice right away. In truth, the first thing you'll notice is Arakoth's big booty.

I like big abdomens and a I cannot lie. You other spiders can't deny....

I can't wait to throw a horrifically giant spider at the PCs.
