Fighting the Gray Tide (Miniature Painting)

My Children of Atom Zealot Congregation. These are the older model made from resin. They’re somewhat delicate and I accidentally broke one taking it off the cup I painted it on. They’ve switched to plastic which is more durable.

In the 1990s, I bought a Warhammer Fantasy starter set that came with a bunch of spear wielding goblins. The spears pointed straight up, and I lost count of the number of times they stabbed me when I was picking up things on the table. I mean to the point where they'd stick in my flesh and were lifted off the table as I recoiled in pain.
Battle for Skull Pass, or an older one? That one was Dwarves vs Night Goblins. Trying to remember- there was an older 90s High Elves vs Goblins set, right? 4th edition, I think.

Resin is great for detail, but I'm finding I would not use them for use. I've had so many things like swords, spears, and other thin bits easily break with resin.

I made some helicopters recently for Battletech. The bodies are perfect, the rotors on the other hand... Ive had some luck with ABS like resin but yes thin is gonna be trouble with resin prints.
