FILM: Renegade / Blueberry

Anyone else see Renegade (originally, "Blueberry" in France), which was based off a comic book?

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0276830/

Just rented it and I must say I was bored out of my freaking mind, and I like movies that are a "bit off". Now, I never read the comic, but as a film goer (DVD renter), I should not have had to. I have not seen such a waste of talent and over use of boring special effects since the three Matrix movies. (And when I say talent I in no way mean Reeves, he blows monkey poop.)

The ONLY thing worth watching in this movie was Eddie Izzard, and I am a big fan of Vincent and Madsen in general. Oh well, at least I didn't buy it (I only rented it) like I was originally going to do.

As I said, Izzard was great. It took me several minutes to place him, and I was looking for him. He was Proist, a prussian.

They do a lot of that etheral snake/monster/devilbeast floating about stuff. And it just SUCKS. There's no explination, just black or gold wyrms and demon-wyrms floating about with a few "matrix" matrixes and kalediscope effects.

The more I think about it the more I hate it.

Avoid this movie like it was a 15" needle shot of monkey ebola right into the tounge. And I do mean the WHOLE needle.

Like Catwoman. I can't help it.

What did you do to hate yourself that much. No one deserves to ahve that punishment inflicted upon themselves. I actually thought about sueing the folks who made that movie on the grounds of the American righ tto not be subjegated to Cruel and Unusual Punishments... ;)

I agree completely! I hated that movie. I'm just glad I didn't make my wife watch it with me, I would have never heard the end of it.
