Final Fantasy 12 info

Yes boys and gals, there is a Final Fnatasy 12 from what some info have been release it will based in the same universe as FinalFantasy Tactics Advanced. Now from from news and game sites, only 2 playable characters have been realsed. Now if you got the SquareENIX's Japanese site for FFXII, you see 2 more characters. Vaan and Ashe have been the only characters that game sites have released, The 2 new charcater on SquareENIX's Japanese site are Fraan, a female humaniod rabbit (yes a rabbit): the ranged weapon master and Balflear a human male: a noble. The only thing is I do read japanese so I could tell you much.

I am hoping that they have more info on anything soon.

Just because FF12 takes place in a place called Ivalice doesn't mean it's FFT-Ivalice. FFTA takes place in Ivalice too, and FFTA and FFT are nothing alike.

Also, the other two characters have been floating around gaming sites for quite a while now. After all, Japanese is practically a prerequisite for working at a gaming site.

Not to burst your bubble or anything. I mean, I don't speak Japanese at all, so I am impressed. Kanji just confuses me to no end.

I'm look forward to what the new person in charge (whose name I forget) is going to do with the series. Though frankly, I'm not too impressed right now with a bunch of promo screens and artwork. Now, if they eliminated random battles, spruced up the battle system a little more, and brought in Yasunori Mitsuda to do music instead of Nobuo Uematsu, I'd be a little more enthusiastic.

I hate to sound like Diaglo but the only real Final Fantasy is the only Final Fantasy with out a number in the title...

Furthermore back in my day we killed humanoid bunnies, not to be mean, but for the exp. of course!

From what I understood, the races from tactics advance will be featured in 12-the viera(the rabbit girls), the nu mou, the bangaa and of course moogles. Considering the lead devs of the games workd on tactics and vagrant story (also set in the world of Ivalice) this isnt too much of a surprise.

This Ivalice may not be identical to the world of the other games, but I like the choice as setting. I only hope they do something to jazz up the battle system a little....

Those little ball things that sprout from the heads of Moogles, are they part of them, like weird antennae or something, or what?

I'm playing FFTA on my GameBoy Player and it's very fun. I finally got the weapon that teaches the dualwielding skill and it's extremely happymaking.
