Finally - I've got a 1e game!

Ah, I am a happy Tewligan! Shortly after moving, I've at last fulfilled my wish of assembling a 1e group - with an experienced 1e DM even, so I can play rather than run it! Plus, I met the other players today, and they seem normal! Ohhh, I don't know what character to play...An illusionist? I've never run an illusionist! Oh, and I've never played a paladin, either! A thief might be fun...holy crap, a druid could be awesome! Maybe an UA barbarian? Jeez - I barely got to actually play when I was a kid, now I want to play every single class whose rules I pored over for all those years. So, many decisions! I'll just pray to Saint Diaglo and hope I make the right choice, I guess.

Why not an Assassin? I always loved 1e assassins. But the druids are great. High level 1e druids were a ton of fun.

Heh - you named the one class out of all of them that I have NO interest in playing!

We're all getting together at a bar this Wednesday to chat over a beer or two and figure out who's playing what. I think I'm down to either an illusionist or a druid - the druid would be more surviveable, but the illusionist would be a fun challenge. Plus, I think I want to play an illusionist as a kind of foppish dandy who's quite considered about appearances, whether real or magical. Damn, this is a tough choice! At least I know I definitely want human, anyway.
