Paizo Finding a class

HorrorRogue

Hey

My group and I are starting a new campaign. I'm aware you can play anything you want in the game.

However we're trying to find classes that would fit our personality based off what the others say.

For mine they all agreed and said I had a "dark personality" mixed with "80s pop music" (Goofy, fun, quirky, etc) Someone jokingly said Ghost the band minus the singing, not a bard or any other bard related classes.

70% dark/30% 80s pop music was the percentage they agreed upon.

Any class that would fit that specifically?

We were told we can use ANY class from this website https://www.d20pfsrd.com

Question is, are you playing PF1 or PF2? Because the link you posted is to PF1 content. You need to know that they are not the same game at all, even if they share a lot, conceptually.

Secondly, it's not at all clear how to translate character traits like "dark personality" and "goofly, fun & quirky" into a character class. I suspect you could do those things with any class you like.

Do you want to be a strong fighter type? A nimble dodger? A spellcaster? And within each category, there are so many options. If you're looking for help, you'll need to be a lot more specific.

Glam Warlock whose glorious mass of hair is his Outsider patron
Phantom Rogue - smooth criminal (the Wails of the Dead are high pitched yells, make him a Reborn for a thriller)

Take it from someone who literally goes to goth picnics, there's no narrow definition there that will lead to a class unless you're aiming to lean into cliche stereotypes.

Think of what you want to do and how you want to do it and then apply the personality as a lens to guide it.
