Actually, this is unfinished, but it's so close it's indistiguishable.

very nice!

Anime influence? How did you go about creating the final artwork? I'd be interested in seeing the basic sketches & knowing how you came up with the final artwork, is it computer generated or handpainted? What's the story behind the work? -Jim

I agree with the strong anime influence, especially along the Nascaa/ Mononoke lines. It also reminds me a lot of a disney'esque artist whose work I enjoy.

If you wanna learn to use a photoshop program, check out

this is a photshop tutorial from Julie Dillon. It used to be on her site at http://www.jdillon.net , but that site still has a bunch o' really neat stuff. She's still better n' me at drawing guys.

Koma was drawn in ink and scanned, then colored using multiple layers. Once you get the hang of photoshop, it's easy to figure things out and even try your own techniques. The male Dasho picture, a fellow called Alru, is going pretty slow, mostly because he's full body and will be used up front in the "Character Races" section.
Dasho are one of two races commonly available in the Sacred Ground setting. Humans are the other.
