Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 3 Is Almost Upon Us! Discuss What You Want

I think these guys will outnumber the earlier music.
Yeah I'm looking through some of the notes on the episodes and I think you might be right here. There's a surprising amount of Boomer-ass 1950s big band nonsense, which is no doubt down to MacFarlane, but there is a fair bit of 1970s and 1980s stuff in there!
The Rolling Stones are in there too, but anyone who tries to classify them as "Boomer music" for being active in the 60s clearly doesn't understand that some rock artists transcend generations.
For sure. They're Boomer by era but I wouldn't call them "Boomer music" in the way I would ratpack big band stuff.

Not that I am aware of. There's rumor that production will start in February. If those are true... probably 2026?
Production started in December. Makes me want to take the 1/2 hour drive to wherever the studio is, in Mississauga.

EDIT - Well, that was easy to find; 1850 Matheson Boulevard East, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Maybe 15 minutes from my front door. I've been past it thousands of times.

Production started in December.

Wait, which show now? The thread is about SNW, but the discussion had slid over into The Orville.

I know SNW production started a while back.

I haven't seen any confirmation on production of the Orville, and that's what I was speaking to.

Oh, sorry. I missed that and thought you weren't talking about SNW. I still need to dig more into when "The Orville" is going back into production some more.

Well, technically I was just collecting some of SZK's old reviews.

But I realized ... give the people what they want. And people wanted to discuss Strange New Worlds.

Except maybe when they want to discuss the Orville?

Eh, Forget it, Umbran. It's Internettown.
