I'm not going to say it's a failure of the product, but yeah, the head shot thing was annoying.

I wonder if we'll ever see something similiar to Steve Jackson's Cardboard Heroes where it's a full illustration that stands up? Using the spacing rules in 3.5 should allow some things, like the giants for example, to be done pretty well and add a 3-D effect that the counters, while vastly cool, cannot do.

I'm hoping that when SJGames' electronic pdf store goes up the cardboard heroes are something they turn into a pdf. I'm not really a crafts guy and having to cut them apart for set up means I have not done more than look at the ones I have in their folder. That was a nice thing about the dragonscalecounters ones, they came pre cut and ready to use.

But if they produce them as a .PDF, won't you have to print them, cut then out, and set them up?

I'm a lot more comfortable cutting paper with scissors and printing it out again if I screw up than pulling out an exacto blade and going to work on thick sheets of harder material.

I did this with the interactive design associates sets and they turned out great.

Also with PDF ones I can copy and paste the images for use in my e-mail game. Or print the same image again and again for a horde.
