Did Mal kick Niska's goon into the engine intentionally?

  • Yeah, that dude got a face full of engine on purpose.

Mal also shot a COP in the head with out giving it a second thought.
Some people don't consider that any more significant that killing anyone else. Killing a cop is only significant if you supposedly have respect for them and do it anyway. The cops were in the pay of his enemies who beat him in the war. Killing a cop would not mean any more to him than killing any other enemy soldier.

Mal made man-salsa on purpose and without the slightest twinge of guilt. Which made it high comedy, as others including Henry have said. He violated one of the dumbest cliches of the action genre with style and grace. :)

Absolutely intentional. I watched this last night after finally getting Firefly on DVD (gotta love Virgin Megastores, half price on a stack load of sci-fi tv series DVD boxsets). I love scene select.

*warning* ... don't read that if you're at work ...

dude I'm fightin' hard not to burst out laughing and keep a serious face.

Intentional.

But what is all this talk about man-salsa? That sounds like some non-Granma-friendly thingie, IYKWIMAITYD... :)
