I am making a monk subclass based off of nastu from fairy tale and would like some feed back and advice these are
the rules that i have come up with

The Way Of The Dragon Slayer

Dragon Shape
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd levels you take on some of the attributes of a fire dragon. You have immunity to fire damage, and can use your reaction to eat flames that were not created by your character to regain 1 Ki point. You can eat any flames within 5 ft of you, taking one point of damage.

Fire Dragon Arts
Starting at 6th level you can attack like a dragon. On your turn, you may spend up to 4 ki points to take one of the following actions
Fire Dragon Iron Fist - You make an unarmed melee attack which deals your normal melee damage plus one additional die of fire damage equal to your martial arts die per ki point spent.
Fire Dragon Roar - You attack in a 20 foot cone with damage equal to your martial arts die per ki point spent plus 2 damage.
Fire Dragon Brilliant Flame - You shoot a ball of fire that does damage in a 20 foot sphere with a range up to 100 ft. You deal damage equal to your martial arts die per ki point spent.

Dragon Force
starting at 11th level you gain the power of a fire dragon. All attacks do fire damage and damage is doubled this state costs 4 ki to enter and 1 ki point to maintain after first round.

Lightning Fire Dragon Mode
Starting at 17th level you can take on the powers of a fire dragon and a lightning dragon . You can enter this state for 7 ki points and 2 ki maintain it after the first round and all damage is quadrupled and half of your damage in this state is lightning damage the other half is fire damage.

Dragon’s Determination
Starting at 20th you can take hits that would normally kill you.
Once per long rest when you would normally be reduced to 0 hit points you instead go to 1 hit point and activate lightning fire dragon slayer mode for free but you still have to pay the cost to maintain it. this ability replaces perfect body.

I haven't done the math to have an opinion about whether the abilities you propose are under or overpowered or just right. But I noticed these two things:

  1. By using Dragon Shape can the monk gain ki in excess of what is specified in the table in the PHB?
  2. The 6th, 11th, and 17th level abilities are all require expending ki. I have never seen a monk (of any kind) in play, but I know that the ki expenditures required by the abilities of Way of the 4 Elements is often cited as a weakness of that tradition.

no, you would not be able to regain more than your max amount of ki points I will change the explanation to make that clear.
and I'm thinking that the ability to regain ki will help balance that out.
